Instructions for FM Transmitter:

1. Plug in the dock conector cable to your iPod

Instructions for iPhone Hands-Free Talking:

1. Plug in the dock conector cable to your iPhone
2. Plug the included 3.5mm audio cable into both your iPhone and CarKit

4. When you receive a call, Car Kit will switch to hands-free talking through your car stereo automatically

What an AWESOME product!! Recently I found myself needing to purchase a new product due to my Griffin wired adapter having been damaged. I decided on this product and I am so happy I did. I experienced some difficulty getting the product to work in my cigarette lighter and had to take the end of the piece that goes into the cigarette lighter off and reconnect. Once I did that and the unit turned on, I can tell you that this product is FABULOUS! It plays my Ipod clear as a bell. There was no static whatsoever on my entire ride to work, the last 20 minutes of which is city driving. For years I used a Griffin FM adapter. The static in and near cities was terrible and made the product unusable in cities. I found myself constantly trying to find clear stations even in the country where I live. I lived with it because I didn't know anything was any better out there. Remote is absolute garbage. I bought this mainly for the remote so I could be hands free while driving, but it turns out that the remote is useless and the only thing it really does on my iPod Touch is fast forward tracks, and not properly skip songs like it should. I do not recommend this unless you're only looking for something to charge your iPod in the car/have a utility that can hold the iPod in place while you drive. Seller saw that I was unhappy with this, and offered me a decent sized refund on cost, they didn't have to do that for me - they didn't make the dumb thing. BestDealsUSA takes care of its customers.

I had my doubts about the quality of this transmitter but it turned out they were unnecessary. Don't have an iPhone but using it for my Nokia N8 and it works fine. The signal is strong enough to go through a "thick skull" of the castom radio unit in a lincoln. Will soon order another one for my second car.
