Summary: What's good and bad... 2008-08-22
Comment: I really like this player. My son received one two years ago and only now is it having any issues. He's six now and has been really rough on the discs, but they have held up well through hundreds of viewings. The player itself is far more durable than my expensive DVD player on my A/V system. But alas, today, the picture turns on and then goes blank after about 30 seconds. Not bad for a kids video player.

Summary: durability is not there 2007-10-10
Comment: we have gone thru 4 of these, i bought them on clearance for $15-$20 and find that they all end up skipping or the color screen goes out on them. i was hoping to find another one or two cheap as i have 3 kids, with one more on the way, and have only one that is working. i have invested quite a bit of money on the pvds, i wonder if the videonow jr pvds work on the regular videonows?

Comment: I love my videonow it is so cool! It has very good picture quality for cartoons. For shows with real people it is still good. I always watch my favorite tv show before I go to bed. Now I can do it without disturbing anybody!
There also is a great disk selection I think.
