TrekStor received a special order from Russian-Canadian billionaire and owner of the Midland Formula 1 team, Alex Shnaider, to develop the world's most expensive MP3 player. What you're looking at is TrekStor's answer to the order. This unique, custom-made device is based on TrekStor's widely successful, award-winning i.Beat organix, but with a little extra bling.

What makes the Gold the most expensive MP3 player in the world? Gold, of course. Oh yes, and diamonds. The casing of the organix Gold is cast in 750 gold (18 karat) and it is adorned with 63 diamonds (one-karat). No MP3 player is complete without being wearable, so TrekStor embellished this player with a small chain that includes beautiful aquamarine gems. Jewelers Wenthe in Mannheim, Germany put over 100 hours of painstaking handiwork into this exquisite gadget.

If you're going to drop 20 big ones on an 18-karat gold, jewel-encrusted MP3 player, the device better sound as good as it looks. Luckily, TrekStor is at the top of the MP3-player game. This device features a beefy 1 GB memory to hold all your favorite tunes. It can playback MP3, WMA, WAV, ASF, and OGG file formats, and it even supports WMA-DRM9 (DRM-protected files). TrekStor built this MP3 player for two, offering a pair of headphone jacks that let you share your tunes with a friend as you're whisked away on your private jet. The organix Gold is also equipped with a stereo FM radio and an integrated voice recorder (MP3 format) for taking audio notes. You can even use your organix Gold as a mobile data storage device with data transfer via the USB connection.

TrekStor makes folder navigation a breeze, so it is easy to organize and locate your favorite tunes or recordings. The extremely sharp, two-color OLED screen displays ID3 tag information for your tracks, FM radio station information (up to 16 presets), and equalizer visualization (11 presets, and one custom equalizer). Now, if you're a jet-setter, preset radio stations may not help you as you zip across time zones. Don't fret, TrekStor has you covered with a built-in station search that will hone in on the strongest stations as you cross the nation.

Other features include line-in recording (MP3 format), SRS WOW surround sound, hi-speed USB 2.0 compatibility (backward-compatible to USB 1.1), and digital clock/alarm/stopwatch functions. The organix Gold is powered by a Lithium-polymer battery that is charged via the USB cable, and delivers a maximum operating time of 25 hours.

Comment: most of them are full of **** they actually didnt buy this. people get killed over this type of thing (playstation 3 comes to mind).

they should just remove this from their inventory. i would just pay down on a house. go to cabelas you could buy a cabin for less than this.

Comment: I bought this and not only is it incredible sounding in my vault, but it also works as a great vanity mirror when there's none available.

Another benefit that I found is that when you start thinking like a billionaire you actually become one!!!! I bought this a month ago and not 4 days later i bought my 3rd mansion in the Balkan islands!!!! I highly recommend this to all my country club member friends, and even to Pedro and billy who mow the lawn on our golf course.

Amazing price!!! well worth it.
Why buy a car, or put a down payment on a house when you could own a GOLD TREKSTOR MP3 PLAYER????!!!!!
Oh yeah and it looks nice too.

Comment: It seems that almost everyone who gave this product a negative review and talks about how "stupid" the product is has trouble grasping the spelling and basic syntax of a language they claim to speak natively. Simply put, most online reviews who try to come off as practical end up showing their own high-handed ignorance.

If someone wants to spend $20K on an mp3 player, let them. Just because you either can't or refuse to doesn't mean that you should dictate how another spends their money. After all, unless you're thier CPA or financial advisor, you don't have ANY place telling anyone how to spend their hard-earned money.

That having beern said, I wouldn't buy this MP3 player, but that's just because it's something above my means and I don't believe in living above my means. Besides, I'd rather get an mp3 player modeled after an NES controller, or to just build one myself.

Comment: I would never buy this, 20 000 on a frickin mp3 player when you get ipods that show video for 400. i must look obviously stupid to trekstor, they shuda put one terrabite in it, ditch the gold leave the diamonds in the frickin jewelry store and put a normal housing on this baby and ivest in getting it to play videos, then i wud say it cud go for like $500 tops
