Ordered item, opened it up, and followed set up instructions, for MP3 player and software. Had unit attached to computer to charge about 8 hours. Loaded MP3 files onto unit as per instructions. Disconnected from computer, and tried to opperate the unit with provided headphones, the unit would not turn on. The unit would only turn on if connected to the computer, or a power source. Called manufacturer customer support, went through trouble shooting with them, and determed that the unit was bad. Amazon authorized a return/exchange so I exchanged it for another one.

I got this for my 8 year old son. He wanted an iPod nano. When he got it we hooked it up to the computer down loaded his musicand let it charge. A few hours later we took it off the charger and tryed to turn it on, but it wouldn't so we put it back on the computer. I thought maybe it didnt charge long enough. While charging I turned it on to test stand it worked so a few more hours I took it off the computer and we tryed again. It still wouldnt turn on. I should have just got him the nano.
