I have had a few Mp3 players in the past, and i had always bought the cheaper ones thinking that they play music so what's the difference.Well i finally bought a Sony, This 4gb red one, and wow there is a HUGE difference.The screen size is very helpful and easy to read even in situations where there is a lot of glare.Easy to use and i love the FM player channel presets.very easy to see and navigate controls even without glasses for this 63 year old guy.Sound is great, though the earphones that come with it are not.I did need to follow instructions for initial install.I highly recommend this quality Sony Mp3 player.Sony Walkman nwz-E353

After my old radio gave out I finally upgraded and purchased this exact MP3 from Sony. I trust the Sony brand and this was a good buy. It is very easy to use and to load songs to it all you do is drag and drop them into the player window that pop's up on the computer. I have not purchased songs on line yet. It has some nice sorting features that figures out similar types of songs and groups them together for you and it does a fairly good job.
The radio has good reception (headphones need to be plugged in as it uses them for the antenna). I hit scan to set my presets while inside a factory and they all went in and I can hear them all rather well.
The menu is easy to use and the program needed to run it is built into the Walkman so it loads it's own software onto your computer when you hook it up.
The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the only thing I don't like is that you cannot place the radio channels into your own preferred order. You can omit...Read more

I have an IPHONE and don't really use the IPOD on it as often as I use this product. I can convert youtube music into MP3s and put them on this device no problem. It is very user friendly and you don't even really need a manual to know how to use it. Plug it into your computer via USB port and drag and drop. WONDERFUL!!!
