4 GB Internal Flash Memory Four gigabytes of internal flash memory provides enough storage space for approximately 50 hours of music (MP3 files at 128kbps).
Touch-Sensitive LED Controls Navigate your files using the touch controls on the S3, which light up only when in use. After a certain period of idleness, the lights dim and the controls seemingly disappear. (Don't worry, they're still there.)
Multimedia Performer The Samsung S3 supports MP3, WMA, and Ogg audio formats. Browse your music by Artists, Albums, Songs, Genres, or Playlists. The S3 displays album art and artist info for the current track.
You also can enjoy up to four hours of video on a single charge, in MPEG4 or SVI format. Convert your favorite vids with Samsung Media Studio, and take them with you. The S3 also will display text files, along with your favorite JPEG photos, so you can take a few snapshots with you to show to friends.

FM Tuner/Recorder with Presets Enjoy quick access to the FM spectrum--the built-in FM tuner scans the entire FM range in less than 60 seconds and automatically places the available FM stations into presets. To eliminate stations with marginal reception, you can adjust the sensitivity to preset stations only with strong receptions. Want to save something for later? Use the FM Recorder and it's yours.

This player is not that bad. I am a big fan of the sansa MP3 players also because of their features and sound quality. But my niece wanted a white MP3 player, so the search was on. I tried phillips brand and it was just plain awful. I tried Sony and I was not impressed with the styles, sound or features. I tried Coby and you pay for what you get, not worth talking about...then I found the Samsung S3. I really like this MP3 player. The features are good and it even has games, the sound quality is comparable to Sansa modles and the style is very stylish, small and slim. I like the Samsung S3 MP3 player and so did my 13 yr old niece. In fact, I wanted to keep it for myself since it was so unique looking and Samsung is no longer making the model too. The navigation is user friendly and responds well. I rate this player a strong B+. Believe me it's worth the price compared to some of the other so called MP3 players on the market.

I was looking forward to enjoying audio books on my new Samsung s3, but was very disappointed and frustrated by the navigation maze that led me nowhere. The touch pad sort of control was very erratic. I could not call up the chapter that I left off on. Either the touch pad did not respond or performed an unwanted function. I have to say that Amazon was great about the return, shipping and all. I have since purchased a Sandisk Sansa Fuze and am very pleased.
