Summary: Cute and Quality 2008-11-17
Comment: I love this player. It's super small (but sturdy so you don't feel like you'll snap it in two), very aesthetically pleasing (it fits in your hand very nicely in addition to looking nice on its own), and yes, MAC COMPATIBLE. On OSX it shows up as an external drive and it's just drag and drop and you're ready to go. The sound quality is no different than my 80GB iPod Classic and the controls are very easy to use. Unlike with a lot of other LCD-less players, I don't feel like it's a horrible loss here. I Definitely prefer it to an iPod Shuffle. Finally, the DNSe sound options are fun to play with and definitely improve the sound of some of my songs, but easy enough to turn off for the ones that they don't.

Comment: The instruction booklet is so poorly produced that the instructions can't be read without a lot of eye strain. Even with magnification they are barely intelligible. Maybe they ran out of ink when they were printed the booklet I received. This is the first thing a new customer needs to see and they can't print a decent copy for us? Then the update software message notifies me that there is an update to the their studio but when I ask to download the updates it fails. Repeatedly. I've owned a Sansa before (stolen) and I wish I would have gone back to that brand. I had that up and running in minutes.

Just want to recommend this wonderful player to anyone who wants a big sound in a small package.The sound quality is wonderful, and it's just what I needed.I own a Sansa e260 and this unit is right up there with the Sansa's. Can't tell you how extremely satisfied I am with this player.It's a must have for all ages.
