These headphones are LIGHT, and have enough spring to anchor in your ear and STAY there while doing vigorous running. They go in the ear, so they don't make your head or ear hot by becoming an "ear muff" and the sound is great.

The sound quality on these headphones is great. They worked great for running for the 6 months I used them. Then the one speaker on one side just went out. Therefore don't expect more than 6 months with these. For $15 a pop I will look for a new brand. I give them three stars because if you know headphones 6 months is actually a long time before finally breaking. The quest for a decent pair of headphones continues.

I'm sure the selection of headphones or earbuds is a personal thing. Plain earbuds don't work for me while walking or cycling. They drop out at the first bump. So I found these. They fit comfortably beneath my cycling helmet and, of course, don't fall out.
This is my second pair. The insulation covering of the first pair wore out at the joint with the earpieces on both sides and the electrical connection eventually failed after about a year. I had reinforced this with some Goop and they held up for some time before failing completely. I've pre-treated the new pair like this from the start to see if they'll last longer. Not pretty but no one looks and I don't care, anyway. For an apparatus that is intended to be used in an athletic environment, they could be constructed with better durability in mind.
The cord is longer than those in other phones I've had which makes it significantly better to keep your MP3 or other device in a hip pocket with plenty of lead...Read more
