I just loaded the player from my windows media center. I did not download Songbird. Windows 7 has the drivers for this player. The transfer was very easy, the player is easy to set up if you've ever done that before. The sound is good, I don't know about the battery life yet but I've had a Philips mp3 before and the life was really good. The seller for this player was really good I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I got the player for $33 with shipping. Walmart has this player for over fifty dollars. It's a great buy.
