This was my first mp3 player ever, and acquired it almost two years ago. At first I was thrilled, as it was a new type of device for me, but as time went on, I realized how many shortcomings this device has.
The controls are the biggest sore-point. To play/pause, skip forward/back, turn the system off, fast-foward/rewind, etc, are all done by the same button, but you push it a different angle for each function. The play/pause/power off function is done by hitting the button dead center, put a milligram of pressure on one side or the other, and the player will assume you're trying to perform another function... same with trying to skip a song or go back to one, a little pressure wrong, and you're going to be frustrated.
Trying to turn the system off the is the most aggravating experience.
Not even two years of ownership, and mine is barely functional. It'll turn on and play for a minute or two, but then shuts off.
