I have been looking for a clock that would let you set your own music to wake up to. Here it is! That annoying buzz in the morning is irritating after sleeping soundly through the night. I hit snooze for about an hour before I get up because of that loud buzz. Now, I set my Ipod to play soothing music as my alarm and my morning is much more pleasant. I don't hit snooze anymore, as the music gradually brings me back to life.
Pros: Speakers are on top, and have great sound.
Volume range is loud, but not too loud.
Alarm and clock are very easy to set, and it comes with easy to follow instructions.
2 alarm sets.
Snooze conveniently located.
A sleep feature so you can fall asleep to music, and it will turn off after the amount of minutes that you choose.
20 presets for radio stations.
Battery back up in case of power outage

This iPod/iPhone clock radio from Philips has been a pleasant surprise. We had an iPod speaker stand in our kitchen for the better part of two years, and we've replaced it with this Philips clock radio, which is about one-quarter the size and still has a terrific sound to it, clear, a loud, crisp high-end, and still clear at lower volumes. It is very easy to use, and I love that it recharges our iPods. It seems to work on iPods AND iPhones of all sizes and generations as well. My wife has a 2nd gen iPod Touch, and I have a 3rd gen of the same, so that's good to know.
It is an attractive way of displaying your iPod, but it's still attractive when you don't have your iPod attached to it. The radio is great; it comes with a wire antenna which I was able to invisibly loop behind our kitchen devices and feed to a spot on the window; we live in a fairly rural area, and the radio was still able to identify 18 presets. This would be a great product but for one deal-breaker: when you play the radio, the display shows the station call numbers and not the time. While playing an iPod, the display reverts back to the time; the same is not the case then using the radio. This feature makes the device pretty useless when being used as an alarm. You wake up to the sound of your alarm, but can't tell what time it is.
