Sporting a wall-like 60-inch screen, the Philips 60P8341 projection TV truly brings the theater into your home.

Video Features
This analog projection television features Multipoint Digital Convergence for ideal color reproduction and crisply defined edges. The CRT also features an enhanced green phosphor for richer, natural colors, and image flicker reduction. On top of that, the set's Progressive Scan Doubler eliminates horizontal scan lines seen in conventional television images. Its picture-in-picture feature is actually a split screen, so the two simultaneously playing programs are shown at full height. This feature also works with multiple video sources, such as the Internet, a videotape, DVD, video game, and, of course, conventional television programs. Finally, it features a digital comb filter, which enhances resolution by removing the blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl.

Audio Features
The 60P8341 features Philips' Incredible Surround, a surround-sound system designed to provide room-filling audio from the two speakers on the set, as opposed to five separate home theater speakers. It also features Video and dbx sound processing. Connections include a side and rear component A/V input, two side jack S-video inputs, one composite A/V output, and a headphone jack
