Summary: Player could use bookmarks 2008-12-27
Comment: The player works fine for me, except for the fact that it doesn't have bookmarks. I.e. when I listen to a list of mp3 files, I would like the player to remember the file I was listening to, and also the point in the file when I shut down. So that when I turn on the player again, it will start up at the point that I shut it down, instead of starting off at the beginning of the file list again.

Summary: Died 3 days out of warranty 2008-11-29
Comment: Bought this for my daughter's birthday. I put a few songs on it and she used it pretty consistenly since September. Two days ago, she asked me to look at it because it wouldn't turn on. The thing is dead. I tried all the troubleshooting tips in the manual and on the Philips website. I called customer service and they said they can't help me if it's out of warranty. We looked up the receipt and bought it 93 days ago.
What a rip off. I will never buy another Philips mp3 player again. I'll probably go out of my way to post this review on a few of the main web shopping sites that sell it.

Summary: Philips 2 GB Flash MP3 Player 2008-09-20
Comment: I recently purchased the Philips 2 GB Flash MP3 Player. It works great, downloaded quite a few songs and enjoy during the day or times of relaxation. Would recommend this to anyone contemplating a reasonably priced MP3 Player. I think I will replace the earphones with a type that is a better fit to my ears. They tend to fall out of my ears, only downside. Volume and ease of operation top notch for MP3 Player in this price range.
