The second-generation CBX-300 CD receiver system is a rewarding blend of style, direct iPod integration and superb music performance. I recently purchased this unit for my son's birthday. He is staying with us while he recovers from a motorcycle accident. He wanted an i-pod dock, so I got him this and glad I did. I have a decent stereo system and enjoy quality sound reproduction. This little unit does it all, CD playback, i-pod doc, Etc. as well as quality sound. The volume my not knock your socks off, but for casual listening it's great. Loud enough to fill any room.

I recently purchased this for my Den, and was totaly
blown away by how good it sounds. I had tried the $499.00 Cambridge, and returned it because of the poor sound quality of my CD,s. When I ordered this one, I really wasn,t expecting much, but I was in for a pleasant surprise. I LOVE IT!!!!

I wanted a good-sounding Radio/CD unit without detached speakers
for a small space... and I didn't want to spend $500 for the Bose equivalent.
