I bought these specifically for running. I found that the design is great and unlike many other headphones I've had, they don't fall out of my ears when I'm on the road. Unfortunately, after a few weeks the left speaker failed. Thinking it was a fluke, I exchanged them for another pair. Less than a month later, the same thing happened. After reading other reviews, this seems to be par for the course.

I don't blame you if you're lured in by the reasonable price and stylish design, but don't be surprised when the left speaker dies on you way too soon.

These are the best lightweight headphones I've found for running or working in the yard. However, they've jacked the price up a full eight dollars since the last set I ordered less than three months ago. Now I'm about to buy my fourth set in two years, because once again, the connection between the headphone and the jack has gone out in one channel. With the overly lengthy cord that dangles behind your back, it's very easy for it to accidentally hook on something as you pass by and yank it, at which point it apparently severs a wire and renders them useless (and I've had no luck repairing them). Extremely irritating, so be careful to tuck the extra cord away in a pocket or somewhere. Update April 30, 2009: My fourth pair broke today; no pull or yank, the left channel just suddenly stopped working. Ridiculous -- never again.

Don't expect these to impress you with great bass, but if you're looking for a great pair of light, comfortable headphones with sound quality comparable to that of iPod headphones, these are it. I run a lot, and tried several pairs of similar design, I'm really glad I found these.

Definitely recommend these headphones over Sennheiser PMX70 or Sony As50.
