This player is OK for the price. I bought it for my 10 year-old niece. It took a while to understand how to operate it. I think it's not very user friendly for a preteen or older person to operate. My cheap Sandisk is a lot more user friendly. The 1GB storage is a nice size for a teen. And I like the fact that it runs on a triple A battery instead of being charged in your computer.

OK, it's not an ipod, but for a Christmas Party I put music on 6 of these and gave them as gifts. People loved it and most are still using it. Best gift or party favor ever, just look at the price.
