Video files such as MPEG4 or DivX files are quickly converted to the supported PIX format via the included software, which reduces the file size. Videos play back smoothly thanks to a high frame rate and a quick LCD screen refresh rate.
The FM radio enables you to record FM programming to the device's memory. The integrated clock includes an alarm to wake you to your favorite music. The direct encoding function lets you record from external sound sources such as a receiver, CD player, cassette deck and other audio player with the simple touch of a button. Digital audio files can be saved in multiple folders, and those files and folders can be selected and played as if in Windows environment. Other features include six equalizer presets, USB mass storage capability, upgradable firmware, and SRS WOW 3D virtual surround sound.
It connects to PCs via a USB 2.0 connection (cable included)--which features download speeds of up to one second per song--and is compatible with Microsoft Windows 98SE, 2000, and XP. No extra battery or recharger is required. The internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery is easily recharged by connecting it to the USB port on your PC, and it provides up to 12 hours of continuous audio playback or 6 hours of video play.

This review is from: mobiBLU DHH-200 8 GB Media Player (Red) (Electronics) I love technology and this device meets all my expectations and more! Similar to the cube, it's an extremely convienent and easy drag & drop file type exchange. Sound quality is excellent, navigation is simple, set-up is straight forward. Video playback is really great. I've had several mp3 players: cube, iriver, rio, ipod and this one is hands down my favorite. The previous ones were either over priced, had complicated software or were limited in scope relative to this device. Two downsides: 1) photo review is slow and 2) no accessories as of yet (i.e. carrying case) Very minor issues, still worth the buy! 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: mobiBLU DHH-200 8 GB Media Player (Red) (Electronics) I saw a review for the "cube" in the local newspaper and decided it would make a great gift for my son, who is in graduate school. The thing that sold me was the possibility of saving and viewing movies on the screen, since my son experiments with and reviews videos. Indeed, my son said that he has a full movie on it already, and is using a subscription to download music files. Since he had such a good experience, I ordered another one for my daughter, who teaches music in another state. Then we visited her and I got my first chance to "play" with the cube. The screen colors were great and the sound good (she only had a few music files downloaded so far). Video files have to be converted to "pix" mode using the included software. One of the ear plugs was damaged when she got it, but it was easily replaced, since these are not expensive items. My son is anxious for his sister to call him so he can teach her all he knows. Of course, it doesn't have all...Read more By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: mobiBLU DHH-200 8 GB Media Player (Red) (Electronics) First off, the product came with hardly anything resemnbling a serious user manual...which is fine, because I'm pretty tech-savy.
I bought this product as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend after browsing many different players. This one seemed like a good buy, and the two other reviews raved about it, so I figured it was a good idea. I couldn't have been more wrong. The player started having issues and then ceased to function after only a few months. I tried everything I could on my own to resolve the problem. I tried to contact the company for tech support, but there is none to be found. If you call the company the call goes to a voicemail and you get a message that the voicemail is full. If you e-mail they do not respond. I finally tried calling their sales department and leaving a message with my contact information there, but no reply. They have a file on their website for a firmware fix that I thought may solve my...Read more |
