Summary: Didn't give us the quality of picture we needed 2010-08-29
Comment: Had to return item, with our TV and satellite system, it didn't present such a good quality. We had to return it.

Summary: Nice Product - works well with HDTVs. Not very compatible with regular TVs 2010-08-22
Comment: The images output on HDTV are excellent. I was very impressed with the HDTV picture quality, but on a regular non-HD TV, at best you will get a black & white picture, and at worst images that have terrible colors. The product played all avi and vob files without any problems. It played mp3 files very clearly and was also able to read other music format files without a problem. The music output quality was so sharp that I could begin to discern some flaws in some of the music files I had, flaws that other mediums had not detected. Generally, this product has not disappointed me by being unable to render any file I have thrown at it.
You should note that it does not have buttons, so the remote is all you have. If you lose the remote, or it stops working, you basically have a useless product. This happened to me, but the folks at Micca (Jack) promptly sent me a replacement remote. I did suggest to him that they should consider adding some basic buttons to the product. I think it is a negative for an other wise stellar product.
I actually plan on buying another one of these after trying an NBox, which I found inadequate.
There are some flaws with the interface, like the music display not matching/moving with the currently playing song, something I think can be addressed in the software, but overall this is a product I can recommend based on its performance.

Comment: If your video library is vast and diverse, this is a must have to enjoy it in any TV, HD or not, in a convenient and very portable way, without the need of your computer. HD content should be enjoyed through the HDMI interface.

Comment: This media player is easy to use and nice outlook. However, the remote control is bad and the button not working sometime. I'm still satisfied with the price that I paid for this player and I would recommend to my friends who are interesting.
