I use it with my laptop when watching movies on it. Provides much better sound than the speakers in the laptop. I also use it with my iPod at my desk. Surprisingly deep, rich and loud sound for a small speaker.

I've been through a number of laptop external speakers. This little speaker is better than speakers I bought for 30 dollars....definitely worth purchasing....yes I also wish that the chord was a bit larger...but otherwise really an awesome little speaker for the price
