I have had this MiniMove for almost a month now, and love it! Bought it for my kitchen to replace an old am/fm/cd boom box. I had seen these at WalMart for $49, but got this one on Amazon for $29. Can't beat the price! I have an old iPod Nano and a newer iPod Touch. Both of them can dock into this unit (while charging) so I can listen to my favorite music while cooking, reading the paper, etc. I really like the size and portability of this MiniMove. In the summer, I will be able to quickly unplug the cord and take it out on the patio. As an added bonus, my MiniMove came with a remote control, which I have only used a few times at this point. An excellent buy!

Good While it Lasted,

I purchased the mini move for my 12 year old daughter . She loved it and it worked great. It fit her ipod perfectly, it was easy to move around, and the sound quality was good. After about six months the AC adapator quit working, the machine would run on batteries only, but as you can guess it doesnt charge the ipod while running on batteries. I ordered a new adapator($40-no returns excepted) just to find out that was not the problem. I then contacted Memorex, who exchanged the broken one for a brand new replacement. Which was great until a few months after getting the replacement the same thing happened again. I have since given up on the memorex brand and purchased and ilive which hasn't had any problems.

This portable boom box seems very handy but soon will only work as a battery only device. I foolishly bought two of these (believing that the first one's flaw with AC adapter was a fluke). Well two months after buying the second one, the same flaw presented itself on the new boombox. I guess you get what you pay for. Buy another brand, never Memorex even if you have to pay more.
