Summary: Meizu 2GB MP3 Video Player 2008-12-16
Comment: I was really suprised when I bought this player. I thought it wasn't going to be as good as the real expensive brands, but I thought I would give it a try anyway. My 11 year old son wanted one of these for Christmas, and I thought it better to start with a cheaper one than an expensive one. I tried it out before I wrapped it and I liked it a lot. The video converter software takes a little bit to get the hang of, as well as the scroll buttons but it's a really cool little machine. I think he will like it a lot. Now I wish I would have gotten the one with more memory. It's very stylish, with a good size screen and it's afordable. Plus the sound is excellent. I used to own an Ipod Nano and truthfully I think the sound is better with this machine that the Ipod.

Comment: I'm sure this product would have been awesome, but it was not mac compatible. I checked and it said it was, that's why I bought it, but it wasn't, so I had to return it.

Comment: this device is small and easy to use. the only thing i'd change is the way it's designed. the buttons are on the right side, but the earphones are also plugged in on the right. other than that, it's a great little player that's easy to carry around because it's so small and thin. i recommend this to anyone that's looking to buy a new music device.

Summary: BETTER THAN THE NEW IPOD NANO 2008-01-12
Comment: I have had an Ipod Video and my Wife has the new Nano with video etc. and we recently purchased this player (SL version) for a friend based on price and the fact that it has FM Stereo.
We played with it for while and then bought one for ourselves, we are so impressed, the sound is fantastic, the whole interface is custamizable and the the battery life is some 36 hours!!! The video and picture quality is so clear and movies look fantastic on it. With the conversion software, we were able to put 4 movies on it as well as some songs... now, the screen is still small, so movies look great, but, it's not that fun to watch movies on such a small screen. The player itself is really small, light and to be honest, it's really esy to use and it's beautiful! You can use it as a voice recorder as well, but to be honest I can't tell you how good it is as I haven't had a need to use it...maybe for meetings.
I really can't say much more, but I know the company is supposed to be coming out with a touch screen version and I am now a Meizu fan...sorry Apple, no offense. I'll be buying Meizu from now on.
