The Lyra has 16 GB of memory and can store hundreds of your favorite songs and video. The player is compatible with MP3, WMA, DRM9/10, MPEG4/MP4, SMV, AVI, WMV, RMVB, and MOV file types. The built-in lithium rechargeable battery lets you enjoy up to 50-hours of music playback and 8-hours of video playback. Effortlessly manage your media library with the easyRip software. Quickly load your Opal with music, photos, or videos from your computer or rip to your player from your personal CDs. Use VideoSnip to capture online video and transfer to the Opal for personal use - allowing you to take your favorite YouTube videos with you while you’re on the go. Listen to your favorite FM radio station and store up to 20 presets of your favorite stations. Record clips from FM radio to MP3 format so you can listen to the recordings later or download to your computer for personal use. Given a second chance though I probably wouldn't do so again. The Lyra is a mixed bag of some good quality, unique features, and severe drawbacks.
