Amazon.com Product Review
The feature-packed iStation7 speaker system from Logic3 lets users listen to, sync, and recharge their iPods from a single convenient location, making it a favorite of iPod owners everywhere. The dynamic iStation7--which comes in a stylish, ultra- compact white housing--produces hi-fi-quality sound thanks to its combination of dual 1.25-inch tweeters, 2.5-inch subwoofer, and 3D surround sound processor. The speakers and processor combine to deliver a rich, robust sound that belies the unit's compact size. The system also boasts the added convenience of an IR remote control, which lets the user operate all the functions of the iStation7 from a distance, along with several extended functions of the docked iPod, including playlists, albums, shuffle, and repeat.
Connecting an iPod to the iStation7 couldn't be easier--simply place your iPod into the universal dock and you're set to go. The device automatically recharges all iPods with a 30-pin dock connector, so you don't need to worry about the battery level running down. In addition, the iStation7 functions as an external speaker system for other audio devices, such as older iPods, the iPod shuffle, MP3 players, MiniDisc players, personal CD players, or even PC and Mac laptops. Just plug the included stereo line-in cable to the iStation3's auxiliary input and you can amplify any device with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Other details include a soft-light LED, a compact foldable housing with a protective cover for transportation, and a total power output of 12 watts. The iStation7, which runs on either four AA batteries (not included) or AC power (adapter included), measures 5.4 by 7.7 by 1.5 inches (W x H x D).

This is a great "little" sound system for your ipods to play on. I use mine at work and immediately liked how easy it is to use. The sound quality is good (up to a certain point) and I work in a large room that is full of students doing art and the sound fills up the space nicely without losing its quality. I will also say that at home, I own a Klipsch (which is comperable to Bose) and if you are looking for that kind of sound quality in this little speaker system than you are better off spending the money on the Bose or Klipsch. I have to admit this little guy does the job and even has little extras like the battery power, adapters for various types of players, AC power adapter and even a remote. So overall, I would say the qaulity is great for the value...just don't expect the same sound and power you get from a Bose stereo.

What a fantastic gift this little device is.. and I'm not a teenager!! I wanted nice sound, light weight - small for travel, use of small AA batteries (I use rechargeables), low impact look, attractive & simply designed like my ipod, separate sub-woofer, ease of charging my ipod, small remote control loaded with features such as shuffling of songs w/ ability to switch to my various playlists & albums, repeat, FF, etc. I wanted speakers that will take all models of ipods, cd/mp3, headphones player and with batteries or ac adaptor. Sounds impossible? With this device you're getting ALL that!! I've read the reviews that say the sound isn't great. It fills my open area well (open kitchen & family room which flows into another very large room). So I say, for its size, it does a HECK of a great job! It has a 3-D sound button that adds more kick.. I'm VERY impressed. There's a beautiful indirect blue light that I adore! That's not to say I am not dreaming of a speaker system that uses ipod"s...Read more

I tried and tried to convince myself that this sounded good, or even acceptable. Alas, the sound was so muddy, no matter what I did. I set the EQ on treble boost, and I pressed the "3D" button on the unit. Still as muddy and muffled as could be. Besides that, there was a terrible sound between tracks that reminded me of a CD player searching for the next track. Amazingly, I never hear this sound when using the nano with headphones. I am returning this and moving up another price point when searching for my next small speaker set.
