This Lenmar AC Adapter for USB-Powered devices is perfect for travelers or those who need to charge on the go. At just over a half an inch thick, it'll fit just about anywhere.

When you're ready to use it, just connect to your device via the proper USB cable (not included), flip up the AC prongs, plug it into a power outlet, and charge up. I bought this at the end of the year before going on a trip. Almost every time I tried to use it to charge my iPod, it didn't work. One time after being plugged in for about 15 min with a red light on it suddenly started charging. I haven't been able to duplicate that.
I recently contacted the company. They said they'd repair it under warranty, but because I bought it more than 60 days ago, I'd have to pay $7.50 for return shipping. Because that's close to the purchase price, I've opted to toss this one and buy another brand to replace it.

Does not work with IPOD Nano 5g. The 5g draws more than 500ma at initial charge. I believe the same issue will occur with newer IPOD products. It does work with older IPOD products that draw less than 500ma. I tried it with an older IPOD video and it works.

1/13/10 - Replacement unit from Lenmar works with IPOD Nano 5g. Issue resolved

This is really helpful when you don't have a laptop to charge up your MP3. Well worth purchasing.
