The line-in recording is great, just plug in a mic (or use the built in one) to record speeches/music. Also, you can plug an electric guitar into into it and record. It records from it's built in radio too. The music/video format selection is great, you can use .ape, .vorbis, .flac, and .aac. You don't even have to convert iTunes music or any video you want to drag into it, because it supports xvid, avi, and wmv among others. 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful:  decent for its price but not what i expected, By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: iriver E150 4 GB Digital Media Player (Black) (Electronics) bear with my G.E.D. education, i'm not the best writer out there, so fair warning on bad grammar and sentence structure. at first i thought this would be mixed between an aluminum and plastic casing but it seems it is all plastic and feels a bit like it won't last long but that's just the feeling you get when you hold it, since it is so light and feels a bit hollow, so who knows, it probably is durable. the finish on it isn't as black as the pics they show on the site, it is somewhat charcoal colored on the face plate and the back is black. as stated by other posters, the buttons don't really respond right away or are slow, you somewhat have to press kind of hard to make sure it does what it is suppose to do. when pressing the top button, it's a bit tricky and not seem to know it's a button but the other buttons worked fine. the cover for the usb plug, at least on mine seems to get in the way of actually trying to plug the the cable in, you have to really...Read more 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful: VERY GOOD, Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I really liked it. I got it and opened it and you cannot beat the price for all the features it has. Pros: nice screen Ease of use radio (fm) plays vids micro sd slot speaker in nice casing good sound quality Cons: menu buttons are kinda hard to get used to (up and down) buttons sometimes dont respond. micro sd card not annexed by artist, album, etc. have to format to change from MSC to MTP transfer Cant delete anything in MTP .. Overall, a very good mp3 player. WOULD RECOMMEND!!! |
