Summary: My First MP3 Player 2007-12-10
Comment: This is my FIRST MP3 player -- I did quite a bit of research on the net before I bought it -- and I'm THRILLED with my iRiver e10!! I chose mostly for PRICE per GB of storage and feel that I got even more than what I hoped for, especially as I learn to use more and more of its features. As a first player, it is very easy to use with either the iRiver software or drag and drop. The Universal accessories I've bought work fine with it also.
Enjoy!

Summary: one of the best MP3 player 2007-04-05
Comment: I have another Iriver MP3 player with 256MB. I liked listening to MP3 files with Iriver. It never dissapointed me. But, I found that I need mp3 player with more than 1GB. I choose this because It has graphic user interface and it is easy to handle the functions with just pushing buttons. I love it!!

Customer Rating: 5 Star
Summary: Best player EVER 2007-02-04
Comment: The E10 is in every way superior to the iPod nano 2nd gens. Having used both.

Size. The E10 has a face that's just a teeny tiny bit larger than the nano - barely noticable. However, it is a lotta thicker. But ultra thinness can be a downside as the Nano fits ever so uncomfortable in one's palm. The E10 feels sturdy, strong, and well built. It's not as slippery. Feels awesome and cute and nice in your hand.

Price. Look at the price there, 180 for a 6Gb, what's 4GB for a nano? 200, and you don't get the fm radio, you don't get the voice recording, you don't get the radio recording, you don't get the ANIMATED games, you don't get the video playback, you don't get the flash interface, you don't get remote control, you don't get the dedicated volume buttons, you don't get SRS WOW, you don't get the five-band user EQ, and you don't get animated backgrounds that change automatically according to the days of a week as well as specific time.

Durability. I know I mentioned the price and I am aware that E10 is microHD and nano is Flash. Flash is more durable, one might argue. However, think of it this way - how long do you need your mp3 to last anyway? Let's say, shall we, a year, maybe? Because of the pace of things now, you are probably gonna want to upgrade to a newer, better model with more features in a year anyway, do you really need to durability of a flash based player? Just don't drop it from too high, but you get warranty anyway.

Feature. As afore mentioned, radio, recording, customizable EQ, flash, video, SRS WOW, background, remote control....IN ADDITION to everything a nano can do.

Sound. awesome awesome awesome. With the SRS WOW technology and the 5-band User EQ, the sound on a E10 kicks iPod's butt any day of the week.

Video. Come on now, this player was not meant to play videos. It's screen, though larger than the nano's, is even smaller than the Clix. Vido DOES LOOK DECENT, it's just the small screen. It's great for some favorite MTVs or Music videos.

Usability. You can just drag and drop - it's like having a 6GB jump drive. Or you can sync with iRiver Plus 3, which is a gazillion times more stable, more convenient, more intuitive than WMP or iTunes.

Battery. Rated 32, probably not that long because when you shuts your player off, it does not turn off completely but rather go into a "sleep mode". You can only turn it back on by pressing the power button but it still drains some power over time. It's pretty quick to charge though, and you don't usually need that many hours a day anyway.

Remote Control. I've been trying at different places and I found that it does not work on most new HD/flat screen TVs...bummer. Oh well, still REALLY COOL.

Design. It's just sweet and awesome. The Black one looks really cool and the white one looks kinda cute. You can see the picture, or search for pics online and see for yer self!

Control. Intuitive, easy to use. dedicated volume is much more convenient than the click wheel. Only problem though is that when screen goes off it takes a while for it to be lit when you press a button, like some kind of lag.

System. Really customizable over all, however, the E10 freezes up a little more frequently than I would like. My nano never froze but once. My other iRivers never once froze. The E10 however froze up twice already. Reset is pretty easy and quick once you find something sharp enough.

I love this player. It's got enough storage, but still small enough to carry around conveniently. The iPods, the zune, and Creative Zen Vision M or whatever are just too huge, although they offer better bit/dollar rate, they are HUGE. I use the E10 when running, studying, and sleeping. Radio is always nice when you are tired of your collection and need some refreshments.

ORDER THIS PLAYER....NOWWWW
