Comment: Cheap construction... after a couple months the internal contacts started getting rust and that meant lost of sound.... really bothering when you're jogging or swimming...

Also, is quite unconfortable as you cannot change the lenght of the device, which can either make it too short or too large for most of the people...

a complete waste of money...

Comment: Pro: Excellent design and sturdy construction, long battery life

Neutral: No screen, with limited but adequate number of button controls

Con: Relatively weak bass response (low frequencies) compared with other mp3 players on the market. It would be fine with classical music.

Comment: This player worked very poorly for me. The fit was good and I liked not needing a chord to run from the player... it tucks nicely behind the head. I could never get the sound level to rise much above that of the splashing water. After about 3 weeks something went wrong with the electronics and it would no longer play or hold a charge. I greatly appreciated Amazon's commitment to allow return of products as I no longer had the original packaging but was still refunded. I purchased an additional larger memory card but the one provided held the equivalent of 8 CD's. My recommendation is to pass on this one.

Comment: I used this for 1 lap in the pool and it leaked. I returned to company in Hawaii($24) and they sent me a new one. I used the second one for 2 whole laps before it too leaked and quit working. The ear plugs were a little rough on the ears, but otherwise it fit ok. I thought this was my solution to dieing headphones,but it is not a quality product.

Comment: One of my all time favorite purchases. I work out in a pool while listening to audio books and this allows me to stay in exercise mode for hours without getting bored. This summer my swimming time was fantastic due to this gem of a product! Comes with 3 sets of different size waterproof ear pieces to change out as per size that gives you best fit for your ears. Player hooks over your ears and business piece is comfortable against the back of your head. Once in a while, ears do get water inside and sound is a little muffled. Just a quick tug of earlobe empties water and sound continues loud and clear.

Twisting off the charger and changing to waterproof swimming piece is a snap once you get the hang of it, though it was a little stiff at first. I recommend that you purchase a 4 gig audio SDmicro card. The player won't accept larger than that, but it's not needed as 4 gigs is a great amount of space, anyway. That allows hundreds of songs and/or several audio books...
Place SD micro card in card reader, insert that in your PC and it's a simple drag and drop process to place your music or audio book files on the card. Btw, when I bought my micro card, AMAZON was running a special and it only cost a few bucks, so I got awesome deals all the way around.

The built in rechargeable battery lasts a good 8-10 hours of use at a time and charging is fairly quick. Red light while charging and green light when finished.

The first thing I did was lose the little piece of aqua colored waterproof material on one earpiece stem. (My fault, I pried it up to look underneath and dropped it in an aqua colored pool) Didn't matter...it just covers part of headphone wire inside earstem and it's still waterproof. I've also gotten the player covered with sunscreen. No damage; smeariness wipes right off with alcohol. Just remember that the piece you put on to charge player is NOT waterproof, though it also has a spot for earphones for use as regular MP3 player.

Controls are phenomenally easy. I just reach behind my head and last button on left is PAUSE. Two vertical buttons next to that change the song (or book chapter) up or down. No need to use it, though, as songs or books continue playing right on in order without toucing a button. Right side button is OFF or ON and vertical buttons next to that are volume UP or DOWN. Sooooo easy to feel with just a finger and really quick to operate by touch alone. There is also a RANDOM PLAY button which I don't use since I'm all about the audio book, but songsters will appreciate mixing their tunes up. Also, there's an automatic bookmark that's set when you turn off the player. Turning it back on takes you right to the spot where you left off listening, which is especially great for books that are all in one file instead of in separate file chapters...

I am LOVIN' me this player and cannot recommend it highly enough, particularly for the fantastic price. I really researched waterproof mp3 players before buying this one and I'm totally happy with it. Last week I brought it on a family trip to 6 flags Hurricane Harbor. My sister's family all took turns testing it in the wave pool. They all liked it so much that she's now getting one for her son at his request, for his B-day. In fact, I stopped here today to get the URL to send her for purchase.
