Summary: What a piece of crap! 2008-08-26
Comment: It has very good sound, which is not hard to accomplish as the technology of any of these players will probably be good.
Bad aspects? Instructions please! The most sparse directions are given.
Well I only taught science, have an M.S. in Education and aced science courses.Learning to use the PC interface is discovered . I can't make play lists. The unit shuts off on it's own.It only plays whole albums continuosly.Certain albums from purchsed CD's do not even play although ripped and downloaded in the same way. The equalizer and other gizmos are easy to figure out and use.The basic simple things, especially trying to make your own playlist or a compilation from different CD's---good luck
To be more user unfriendly it would need to self-detonate

Summary: I'm very frustrating that there is no 'zero' star in the rate. 2008-08-13
Comment: I bought this product in August 8 and I wait some responses from Amazon.com. However I didn't get any reponse for 4 days. Finally in August 12, I gotiAUDIO U5-04WS U5 4GB MP3 player (White and Silver) a mail from Amazon.com which contains these phrases; "We're sorry, but the following order from JetAudio, Inc has been canceled because the items you purchased were out of stock. Please return and attempt to purchase again at a later time."
Hm... ok, I will attempt to purchase again.
And when I went back to the purchase page, I was very surprised and resented because the price of this product was raised!!
The orinigal value is $60 and now the price of this product is $90.
So, let's think about it. Maybe, a sellor began to conflict about price when he or she got a purchase message.
Ok, I understand it since I also think that the value of this MP3 is lower than any others . But you have to raise the price "following purchase". You canceled my purchase by compulsion and lie that the product is out of stock.
I don't care about the quality, capacity of the product. I just would like to say about a conscience.

Summary: A good MP3 Player 2008-05-25
Comment: It's a worthy product as a MP3 player, especially at such a price. The voice play quality is not bad but I expect it should be better if being compared with former iAudio products. The only bad is the plastic shell kind of toy-like.

Summary: Not worth it 2008-02-16
Comment: Cowon promotes this unit as having bookmarking features, a claim which even occurs in the user manual. However, a few minutes fiddling with the unit reveals that it does not support bookmarking, a fact that Cowon's tech support staff will eventually admit.
Speaking of which, Cowon's support staff is lucky to be able to tie their own shoes without hurting themselves. I have a transcript of an online support session which would be hilarious in its inanity if one didn't have to experience it first-hand.
Aside from all that, the unit is very cheaply made, and I am doubtful that it could survive the rigors of even gentle daily use. As it was, the unit came out of a box with a plug cover that couldn't hold itself together.
All in all: skip this product, there are far better ones out there.
