Summary: a lot to like! 2008-06-03
Comment: I purchased this mp3 player & a Creative Muvo TX about the same time. After a few weeks w/both I gave the Creative to a friend. So hopefully this one lasts.
Great features and sound. A pretty nice little mp3 player. The earbuds aren't bad but for me won't stay put. There are some pretty good ones that do though. (Griffen, Senheisers & some of the Sony's) Definitely a good buy though.

Summary: Cheap and Easy 2008-01-23
Comment: This mp3 player is a great value and is very simple to use (drag and drop allows me to fill it up in the same it takes someone to open iTunes).
Furthermore, it has great sound, FM radio (always great when you have listened to all your songs a million times), and microphone (only use it a couple of times to make pranks on friends and it was great).
I have an iRiver Clix 2 now, it is better if you are looking for something with a larger capacity and the same great audio quality (especially compared to the ipods.

Summary: Better than iPods 2008-01-18
Comment: We love this little thing. I believe it is better suited for our needs without the big cost of an iPod. This storages enough music and other things that I am very pleased we went with the iAudio instead of the other name brands. We especially like how small and compact it is, we take it everywhere we go.

Summary: Good MP3 player 2007-12-28
Comment: I have been using the iAudio U2 for over a year. I bought it for playing mostly 128kb MP3 files, and a 5-hour talk program file that is also converted to play faster, without raising voice pitch (using Audacity free software). The fast-forward feature can be programmed at different speeds and works much better than the FF on CD players. The selection buttons and the knob, and the screen as well, are all small, which is to be expected for its size. If you store only several songs in a number of files, it takes some twittling to switch to different files and songs, and the bookmark feature is also somewhat tedius. However, their software program is very easy to use to organize your files (which can be saved back to your computer, or deleted in the unit itself).
If sound quality is important to you, and you use headphones that cost $100 or more, such as the Senn 280 HD Pro, this is a good product to consider. The custom equalizer is useful, while the other sound enhancement features (MP3 enhance, etc.) seem to only amplify or distort the audio quality. Comparing this product to the sound quality of a good portable CD player, I would rate it at a decent 8, and a CD player at 10.
In sum, the iAudio U2 is very portable, has a very good software program, good sound quality and a customizable equalizer. The battery life is less than advertized, but has been holding up well after more than 50 recharges. If you want portablity, with good sound quality, this product is a good choice. Especially, if you frequently exchange files with your computer.

Summary: Great for a beginner and priced right! 2007-12-20
Comment: I bought this for my teenage daughter as I thought the Apple Ipods were a little pricey (not knowing if she'd even use it). She loved it and it is about the size of a bic lighter so it very small and compact. Also, very durable...see used it everyday and took it everywhere and was quite careless at times in caring for it, but it keeps right on ticking.
