Comment: The best thing about the player is the removable aaa batery.
You can bring an extra or buy one anywhere in the world.
With the line in you dont even need a computer any more with
this little gem. Cowon has the best audio sound of any player
anywhere. All these things and the small size make this the best
mp3 player.

Comment: At the time when I bought this product, it was a great deal for what you got. However, since then more players have come out when more functionality and good prices. So, I have been happy with this product but now it is time to upgrade.

Summary: Excelent player with some issues 2005-12-28
Comment: First of all, this player sounds very, very good. No player can sound as good as this I5.
It does support multi codec's, has a lot of audio enhancements, FM tuner and is able to record from FM, VOICE an LINE-IN, encoding to mp3.
It's very easy to use.
The cons are: poor battery life and crap bundled earphones.
I could not understand why it was U$129,00 and now it's U$179,00
Too expensive in my opinion.

Summary: My experience with tech support 2005-12-06
Comment: I bought my iAudio about 6 months ago and it's a great product. I use it not only for music but also for voice recording which can be set to record @ 128 kbps to an mp3 file, pretty good!
About a month ago, the time and date of my iAudio reset to deault every time I turned it off. I tried calling and emailing for a week and I couldn't get a hold of tech support from COWON America so I emailed COWON Korea and they forwarded my request to COWON America. Next day I got an email from COWON America with a link to their website for an RMA request. As soon as I got my RMA number things went pretty smoothly. I fedex my iAudio and they shipped a replacement the very next day.
So, product is great, contacting tech support can be a pain but things got really easy for me as soon as I got my RMA number.
