Comment: I've owned mine for two months now. It boots incredibly fast, which is a plus, and it features a AAA battery and SD slot which were key for me. The A-B switch for language learning was a plus as well, although in practice it is very hard to use since it requires good eye/hand coordination to hit both buttons at the same time. I also like that the USB port is standard size and doesn't need an adaptor cable: it plugs right in.
Reception on the FM tuner is good, no problems there.
Where it falls down:
No playlist support. It plays mp3s in the order they were copied (which is not always the order you select, this is totally up to how Windows decides to copy files). It also has a shuffle option. With the lack of any sort of playlist support (you cannot even select tracks, its first come first serve although you can of course skip tracks) its utility is extreemly limited.
I am also a bit disappointed with how the SD card is inserted. The slot is totally open to the environment and I can see the electronics bits just peeking in the slot, so if you drop this in a puddle or snow bank you could short the entire unit out.
They advertise the size as a key thing: while it is light and reasonably well constructed, for a flash device it is actually on the bulky side, although it can be operated with one hand.
I could only get one radio station programmed in.
Instructions are OK, but obviously translated by a non-native English speaker.
Summary: This would be a good "backup" MP3 device, if you just want to carry some music around or listen to the radio and you're in an environment where you wouldn't want to risk a higher end unit, such as travelling. Its rather limited, but if you think of it as a 1 gig jump drive that also plays music and has a radio its a fairly good deal. Its also pretty sturdy and looks like it could survive a few drops.
