Finis SWIMP3 1G Waterproof 1GB MP3 Player with Universal Wall Charger

I gave this as a gift and he has really enjoyed having the music when he swims..... He highly recommends it to anyone that likes to listen to music while they swim.

I purchased the player in March and use it about 3 hours a week in a pool swimming laps. The sound is fine but like other reviewers I have seen issues with the battery life. I thought maybe I was putting in on 'pause' rather than shutting it off (even though it says it will automatically shut off from pause mode) since the battery would be drained after a couple hours use. It is now at the point where I have to charge it everytime I want to use it. It is a good product and there don't seem to be any better alternatives for underwater music but don't believe the claims of 8 hours use between charges. My experience is that after 6 months it's no more than an hour.

Sound is good. Only issue is that sometimes when I push off the wall, it moves so I have to stop and fix it.
