After using it twice, the scroll wheel no longer works, meaning I can't tune it manually, and rely on the InteliSense to find a station for me. Fine, except it's terrible. Two blocks after selecting a station, the radio starts overriding the signal again. The broken wheel also means I can't control any of the settings, whatever they may be. The only thing this is good for now is charging my iPhone in the car.

After the first unit I had bought died after 5 hours of use I decided to restrain myself and not write a review. Perhaps I was unlucky, and it was a "lemon" - happens with any product. The transmitter worked fine, with noticeable, but tolerable amount of interference (but only if the listening mode was set to "mono"; "stereo" was unusable). The low sound quality didn't bother me too much as I was using it mostly to listen to podcasts. The Intellitune system is a joke - you will have a better luck finding an available frequency with a random number generator - but if you manually find an empty part of the spectrum then the transmitter performs reasonably well. But soon the unit died.
I exchanged it for a new one, and it performed well for two days. This morning, however, it started acting erratically, and by the end of the day it has died completely. It still charges the iPhone, but I cannot use it as a transmitter. This time I just want my money back, and will never buy anything...Read more

Not like the original,

I've used the original for years with iPods and had great success. When I got my iPhone I bought this because of my previous experience. I'm completely disappointed. I've tested it driving the same routes where my old TransDock worked perfectly. This model requires me to constantly change stations. Intellitune is a joke. Most of the time it selects frequencies that have perfectly clear stations playing. I've emailed DLO to express my concerns and their response was "Sorry, check our website for some stations to try."
I suggested the original version to all my friends, I would NEVER suggest this model.
