If you want an MP3 player that is just an MP3 player, I highly recommend the Creative ZEN Style M100. By adding a microSDHC card you can take it's storage capacity up to 40GB.

This player has no bookmark function to save your place. This may not be a problem if you are listening to short songs but if you use your player like I do to listen to books you are in trouble. For example books from Audible can have tracks that are many hours long. If you can't save your place your player is useless.
