This review is from: Creative Labs Leather Case for Zen X-Fi (Black) (Electronics) the case is black in color, has white stitching and magnets to keep the case closed. perfect slots for the speaker, earphone and USB ports. has enough room for the player.
i am satisfied with the product. the player fits perfectly into this case. what i would've liked is, if this case protected the screen of the player. but now i have to spend some more moeny in buying the screen protector. otherwise, im happy with the product. all the people who are planning to buy the Creative Zen X-Fi, go for the 3 product (player, case, screen protector) package. 16 of 18 people found the following review helpful: By Logan S. This review is from: Creative Labs Leather Case for Zen X-Fi (Black) (Electronics) This case is sturdy, looks good and holds the Zen X-fi 16BG w/ LAN very snug. The stitching seems very strong and well done, leather is high quality. There are also magnets (inside the leather) to match the nine central buttons to keep the case closed. What I do no like about the case is that the screen opening in the leather itself seems a little small. So, you have to push your player all the way in to reach the power button on the back, but in doing so, you almost completely cover you Play/Pause & Configure/Options buttons. Then the problem crosses over, so that if you push the player back a little to the left, then you do have full button access, but then you have cut off about 1-2 cm of the screen and you no longer can see the power button, and now the external speaker is half covered by the case... So I don't know any other fault of this case besides the leather opening for the screen. (The magnets could be a little stronger, the case does not...Read more 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful: By monoblocks (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Creative Labs Leather Case for Zen X-Fi (Black) (Electronics) I've had this case for 9 months, and with the benefit of hindsight that's about 6 or 7 months too long. Durability is my biggest (but not my only) gripe. The leather loosened up appreciably over the first couple of months to the point that my 32GB X-Fi will freely slip and slide whenever the protective flap is opened. The white stitching frayed fairly early along the top edge at the bend where the front flap folds closed. Considering that I split time with several other MP3 devices the wear on my X-Fi's case is surprising and disappointing given the amount of actual use time my X-Fi sees.
Other gripes have to do with the cutout openings in this case; basically they suck. The front opening doesn't allow a comfortable margin of room to access the X-Fi's buttons along the right edge of its front face; considering that one of these is the PLAY button--kind of important for operating the player, I'd say--this case only suceeds in creating aggravation. Moreover the cutout for...Read more |
