Summary: Mine will not stay on! 2004-12-14

Any little bump and the one I bought will go off. The only way to get it to work again is to pull the battery out and reinsert it, sort of like re-booting a computer. Pull the headphone jack out and it will go off, put the headphone jack back in after you get the thing back up and running, it will go off. touch any of the other buttons, it will go off.
My advice, buy something a little better made, something with more QA at the factory.

Comment: In a couple of reviews the customers did not receive an armband. I just received the product with an armband. It was not inside the box. It was in a ziploc bag outside of the original packaging. I did not get charged for the armband. Guess I'll have to return the armband I ordered separately based on previous customers' experiences.
Since this is a gift I cannot review the product so my star value is questionable here.However I did do a lot of research and this product seemed to have great reviews. It did get shipped to me within a week after I purchased it.

Comment: I bought my IAudio4 and I am very impressed with the signal to noise ratio, the colors, the storage space, and many other options. I used it to record a mix that I heard on the radio with excellent results. I suggest this unit to all music lovers, especially if you want to use it to work out with!CON: I did not receive an arm band with the unit.

Comment: the sound on this device is extraordinary. i recorded my class. the recorded sound is also great. this is like weapon... "i spy"... size is small, very light, amazing colorful display. base is wonderful. this is extremely cool!!
