COWON Carrying Case Black for X7

I've owned my Cowon X-7 for over a year now, purchased it right after my Ipod 80GB classic died due to drive failure, I believe. I had purchased this case along with the X-7, This case has absorbed impact from the precious thing falling out of my pocket onto the floor perhaps 4 to 5 foot drop, onto a wood floor with tiles, not a cement floor. I'm not intentionally dropping the thing, but crap happens. Also I only have a few minor scratches on the bottom of my unit, and not all over the unit, as my Ipod came to be, which did not have any protective covering. I don't listen to TV or public radio, i love my Cowon X-7

The Cowon X7 is an incredible PMP (portable media player). This case is perfect for the X7. I was very pleased to see this was not the normal slip-on, gimp mask-style, pouch that I had for my last MP3 players. This case is very classy. It does not take away from the aesthetics of the X7 at all. It opens and closes like a book. It has a magnetic tab that sticks to the back when it's closed. There are no snaps or velcro, so the case can be opened and closed very easily. The only functional part that this case covers is the USB port, so you will have to pop this out of the case to use the USB port, but since the X7 is held in be cupped, padded tabs, the X7 pops in and out easily, but not so easily that it will come out on its own. I would not own an X7 without this case.

This is tailored to the Cowon X7 and provides a snug fit. The case is well made and should protect the X7 from minor bumps and scrapes. It's a bit big for some pockets (blame the X7 itself) but represents good value. Recommended.
