Apparently I have very small ear canals, because I've had a heck of a time finding any kind of headset that would even stay in my ear. After trying 5 or 6 different headsets and adapters at all price points I got the Comply Whoomp Earbud Enhancers, and I can finally talk hands free. These little shells fit over the earbuds of your headset or earphones, and the memory foam forms to your ear canal. I use mine with a Jawbone (whose "new fit earbud" does NOT fit) and everything is fine. I was even able to get rid of the Jawbone earloop for even more comfort. I super-glued the Whoomp Earbud Enhancer right onto the Jawbone earbud to create a secure but rotate-able connection.

More comfort, clearer sound, not enough bass,

These make the Apple headphones much more comfortable, and they do stay in your ear very well. What they do not do is isolate you from outside noise-despite the product description, there are small vent holes that let outside noise in. I suspect this is why the bass response is also quite poor. I only use them with my iPhone headset when making phone calls. They do well in this application, but for listening to music I use a better set of headphones.

More comfortable, still not enough bass,

Certainly easier on your ears than the earbuds without this "add-on". Seems more secure. Hard to tell if they really increase bass though. Hey, its an add-on, you can't expect miracles! Wish I'd have put the money towards a good set of Sony or Skullcandy earbuds though.
