This review is from: Coby MP610-8GBLK 1.8-Inch 8 GB Video MP3 Player with FM (Black) (Electronics)
Purchased this MP3 player for our oldest son. He doesn't go anywhere without his music and he wore his last MP3 player out after two years. This MP3 player has 8gb of storage and an FM radio. You can store music, videos, pics, and even audio books!
The sound quality is excellent and it is fairly easy to use. He loves it and says it's the best MP3 player he's ever owned or sampled anywhere.

As someone who rides a commuter bus daily (1 hour each way) I listen to a lot of music just to keep my sanity. I bought this player over two years ago, tossed it into my pocket and generally abused it well beyond recommended specs. It served my faithfully beyond my expectations and has held up better and lasted longer than any other player I'ved tried. my last player lasted 6 months before giving out and this one has lasted 2 years. The interface takes some getting used to, but once you do, you don't even have to look at the screen to know what to do. The only reason i am replacing it is becuase my screen finally gave out and i can't see any of the menus. Ironically it still plays well and since i know the menus by heart I can still listen to music but really after this much abuse its time to replace it with a new one of the same make.

It's Okay for the Money,

I bought this because it was relatively cheap. You do get what you pay for. I didn't expect it to be an Ipod by any means, but it did fall a bit short of my expectations. The sound quality was pretty nasaly, even through my Sony headphones. I think if you are just looking for something to play tunes on, this is a good MP3 player for you. If you are looking for good sound quality, color, all the bells and whistles, save up and by something a little better. Coby makes okay products but they don't stack up to some of the better big boys. Good for the money though.
