Summary: It plays MP3s. 2009-01-04
Comment: This is not a bad mp3 player. It's small, it takes a single AAA battery, and it plays MP3s. THe single huge drawback that I've found, is that you can't do an album-level (as defined by directories containing MP3s, or by tags) search (at least not that I've discovered). Everything is at the file level. This might be ok for a CD with 10 tracks, but when you put two audiobooks on here with 200-odd files each, getting to the beginning of the second audiobook is an exercise in frustration. Also, it doesn't always seem to play the files in order.

Summary: Very small & light - perfect for my needs! 2008-12-19
Comment: Here's what I wanted: SMALL and LIGHT, with good capacity, long battery life, inexpensive, and EASY to use (in my way).
I love this thing! It is tiny & weightless. I've got 200+ songs on it with room for more. One AAA seems to last forever. It costs less than the other brands. I keep it in shuffle mode, so I just push the button: once for "on", once for "music", once for "play", and I'm rocking!
I don't use the FM tuner, voice recorder, or use it as a flash drive, so I can't address those functions. For me - it is great!
The one drawback is that the earbuds that came with it were mediocre. I replaced those, and now I have no complaints!
