Summary: Needs batteries 2008-11-19
Comment: I got this as a gift for a 11 yr old who breaks/loses her MP3 players so the cheaper the better it was and it works OK for her especially because she doesn't have an extensive music library yet.

One of the downsides is that it doesn't charge from the laptop but requires AAA batteries so it is useful to get a battery charger with it. It is good to take on long airplane rides however because you can change the battery.

It came with free music from amazon.com but I lost the coupon and we haven't used it.
