I bought these because I needed volume control while running on the treadmill... I have them hooked up directly to an AppleTV (using a RCA-to-mini adapter). They have pretty poor high-end response. But they're cheap, and you get what you pay for, so I'm not complaining.

Wow, I've bought $4 headphones that last about 200 times longer than these. I had them for all of 4 days before they suddenly stopped working. They were working fine, then one day they just stopped, after only using them with a computer and a piano keyboard for a grand total of a few hours. Sadly, this is not the first pair of these headphones that this has happened to. I didn't learn my lesson the first time but now I will never buy these again.

These headphones look and sound great...until they break 2 days after you get them. I ordered 3 pairs and have now returned three pairs thanks to the fact they stopped working after only about 2 hours use.
