The speakers were purchased as gift for my Grandson for use in his office. I am past wrapping gifts age, anyway, I have but one hand to wrap, so I don't. From the box, they were plugged in and didn't work. Tried in another laptop, same result. Other speakers did work.
Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway, I was dissapointed. I asked my son to pick up a set at Best Buy for him next day, as he works downtown. They were a buck more, but they did the job.
They were intended for personal use, and were very inexpensive, but I did expect them to work. It was disappointing.
This will not keep me from Amazon.
