I just bought this player a week ago and I'm satisfied with it. You get what you pay for, maybe a little more. Long story short, It'll do the job you need it to do. I don't listen to the radio on it mainly because I live in a wide country area and can't pick up a good signal, so I'm not sure how well the tuner works. When you upload your music to it, it automatically sets EVERYTHING to alphabetical order (Artist, Album, Songs). Comes with Standard Equalizer Presets. If you like to listen to your music loud like I do, I recommend the SRS HD preset for best quality. Earphones actually have pretty good sound quality, definitely above your average $5 set of earbuds. The only downside I have with it is the touchpad. It takes some getting use to. The touchpad stays lit for about 1-2 seconds (I havent looked in the settings to see if I can adjust that yet) but you might have to double-tap to select an item in the menus. let me start off by saying I am switching from an iPod because I don't need a touch, and the new nano is far too... well, nano. it's too small and the older (much better) ones have tripled in price and are used. (mp3 players appreciating, wtf?) so i picked up this one. I found the 4GB at a local "entertainment store chain" (can't say who) and it was 44.99 for the 4GB or 44.99 for the 8GB on Amazon with no tax and $5 shipping. (sold!) so I waited the week for standard shipping, ordered on monday evening got it 10 minutes ago-friday morning. I plugged it in and the touchpad is just fine. I was skeptical for a touchpad, but it works great. it's not SUPER sensitive but hey, it works fine. it has all the basic functions, so reading the manual was unnecessary.

HELPFUL HINT: when you scroll through your new mp3 player, you'll see there is some loaded junk on there, books, music, and other pdf's. I tried plugging it in and deleting it from the disk image that pops up on my desktop...Read more

I brought this product about 1 mount ago and it has already shown signs of electronic problems. It shorts out and the stereo speaker is horrible, it is very unclean. Also the screen is very easily broken and cost almost the same to buy a new one. I really don't recommend it.
