Summary: Not so good option for the money 2010-08-30
Comment: I bought one last December and broke down last week (less than 8 months after).
Pro: At that time the price seemed to be OK for a touch screen 16 GB player. Now it is expensive compared to others available.
Radio reception is OK.
Video playback is reasonable for the few formats it plays.
Cons:
Very slow start up, When the power button is slided it takes a while to go on, several times it happens that you try it again as it seems that it is not responding.
Very difficult to navigate with touch screen, it is difficult to select what you want, as the response from tactile input is erratic.
Limited video formats to play.
Slow navigation in menus.
Bottom line, I would not buy one today, not only because it broke down but because it has some annoying interface problems (power on, touch screen)

Summary: Easy to use but very fragile 2010-07-24
Comment: We thought this would be a nice, inexpensive ipod substitute for our son. He barely dropped it(and it was in the case it came in at the time), and the screen cracked and doesn't work now. I've been much harder on my ipod that gets a beating in my gym bag and it holds up like a champ. I would recommend spending the extra money and just getting the real thing.

Summary: Great player for the price 2010-07-04
Comment: I've owned this player for several months and have used it primarily in the gym and I'm very happy with it's performance. After using the touch calibration I have no problem with navigation and the volume switch on the side of the player makes for easy volume adjust. I downloaded several movies in avi. format and transferred them to my player it took minutes. I'm not sure how those other reviewers did it but I didn't use the included software, I dragged and pasted. The video resolution was great for a 50 dollar mp3 player, makes the time on the cycle go quickly. I divided music into several folders with titles and am quite happy with performance. Great player for those who wanted a little more but don't feel the need for ipod prices. I plug mine into my computer at work every night so I really don't know how long the battery life is.

Summary: Decent player but annoying touchscreen 2010-06-20
Comment: Touchscreen can be annoying at times, especially when trying to scroll. After some practice you can get it down and it becomes fairly easy to navigate.
