I can't comment on the actual quality of this product, as I never opened the package. I ordered this product from Amazon because I wanted retractable earbuds with a clip to clip the cumbersome retracting mechanism to my shirt when I work out. The product shipped from Ritz Camera. When it arrived it was NOT what is depicted in the photo or described in the product description. The technical details specifies that the phones are ear-BUD (and that's what's shown in the picture) but the product that arrived just had those really cheap ear-phones that rest precariously on your ear and fall out after taking more than two steps jogging. Also, the product details brag of a 48" cable but the package very clearly says 30". Finally, there is no clip (as also shown in the picture) to clip the retraction mechanism to your clothing. Not at ALL what is advertised online.
Bottom line, this might be a fantastic product if you actually get what you ordered. I just don't know. DO NOT...Read more

I just ordered this item and when I got it I was very dissapointed that it was not as described. The ear buds were different than the picture. The ear buds I got were flat and round which hurts your ear and they don't fit inside your ear like the ones shown in the picture. I am returning this item.

I love this product! The earbuds were as pictured and fit very comfortably. They have a very soft mold-able rubber ring which fits in your ear. Most earbuds (and ear plugs) fall out of my ears but not these. I use them for 4-5 hours at a time when traveling and they don't hurt. Fall asleep with them too.
The retractable feature is great. Very easy to use. The key with all of these retractable products is to pull on both ends at the same time to open. If you just pull on one end (like the plug end only) you cause problems. Simple enough, and they all work this way.
The clip is an absolutely necessity. I've owned several more expensive retractables and without the clip, the weight of the center piece pulls down on your ears, and pulls the buds out. So then you have to find a way to tuck the middle piece into a shirt pocket or something, which never really works well. But with a clip, no problems.
