Easy Portability The SoundDock is ready to go anywhere with a slim design, a built-in carrying handle, and a rotating iPod docking station--not to mention a rechargeable battery.
Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery The SoundDock's rechargeable lithium-ion battery offers hours of playing time between charges. You'll get about three hours playback on maximum volume--or a considerably longer time at lower levels.
You can recharge the battery with any wall outlet or use an optional spare battery for a little extra time (the unit batteries are easily user-swappable).

Rotating iPod Docking Station The rotating iPod docking station spins shut when not in use, for protection during transit.
Bose Quality Audio Bose's proprietary acoustic design and powerful neodymium drivers provide more efficient and higher-quality audio reproduction than many other battery-powered iPod speaker systems.
In addition, Bose's digital signal processing circuitry enables finer control over the sound for more consistent, lifelike music reproduction even at low volume levels.

Remote Included The handy remote gives you power and volume control, track seek, and iPod playlist navigation from almost anywhere in the room. Volume control buttons are located directly on the system for when remote control is not readily available.

Comfortable Design The headphones feature contoured, soft silicone tips that rest gently in the bowls of your ears, not the ear canals. Small, medium, and large removable silicone tips offer an adjustable, personal fit.
TriPort Sound The TriPort acoustic headphone structure, available only from Bose, produces tonally balanced audio with deep low notes from small in-ear headphones.
Angled Plug The angled plug makes for extensive compatibility with most MP3 players, laptops, and portable CD or DVD players--even with those recessed jacks on earlier iPod and iPhone models.
Ready for Action Included are a lanyard for stability and a clothing clip that helps keep the headphones in place when you're active. A protective carrying case is also included--big enough for both the headphones and a portable MP3 player.

The best investment I have ever made for my music! Dont fall for imitations or generics...NOTHING compares to the Bose brand! I purchased along with ear buds for my ipod...and I couldnt be happier! My friends all tease me because I tend to talk about my love for my Bose all toooo much! If you love and appreciate your music....this is the only way to honor it! I also recomend the extra hundred bucks for the portable feature...I am so glad I spent the extra money for the ability to charge the battery and be 'on the go'...I take my Bose everywhere! You wont be dissapointed.

After reading reviews from all of the Bose-haters out there, it was difficult to bite the bullet on this package. It took almost a year of research, but I finally did. And I couldn't be happier!
The sound is absolutely amazing! I still can't believe the crisp highs, clear voices and deep bass that comes out of this little unit. It's really easy to operate and the remote works from nearly 30 yards away!
Recently went to Asia and took this little baby with me. The travel bag in the music package fits perfectly and is easy to carry. Battery life has been great. I've gone 5 hours with the volume up pretty high without any problems. Earphones are also very clear (as you would expect from Bose). They are the only in-ear phones that I've been able to workout in without them slipping out of my ear. I run 4 times a week.
You can't go wrong with this package! I highly recommend it.

Like the other reviews I couldn't be happier with my Bose portable system. Make sure and spend the extra $100 to get the portable model it's well worth it. My wife almost killed me when she heard how much I paid for it, but now even she agree's it's the best electronics purchase I have ever made...and I've made alot! The Bose earbuds are also outstanding, I highly recommend them as well.
