Purchased this for my 13 year old daughter and did not want to be locked into the iPod/iTunes that her friends were using.
Easy for her to work and was recognized by Media Player 11 without a problem. We can sync it up in no time.
Good battery life and we purchased the car charger so she can listen to it in the car on long drives without issue.
Unit is now clicking, so I hope that it's not the hard drive failing. We gave it to her for Christmas 2006.
