This review is from: Apple iPod touch 8 GB (3rd Generation) OLD MODEL (Electronics) It works fine, but here's the problem. It was described as a 3rd Generation, but 3rd gen. doesn't come in 8 GB. Seller said sometihing about Apple releasing it as 3rd gen, but it opperates fully as 2nd gen, which means it can NOT be upgraded to iOS5, so no messaging, task list, or other iOS5 improvements. So be aware, if you are okay with a 2nd gen iPod, this is great, just don't be decieved, 8 GB is NOT 3rd generation! 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: Not 3G, but was 2G, Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) It was 2nd Generation. This isn't right. And I do strongly say to all the customers that don't trust all the information about sellers, because some of them are NOT TRUE, like I did purchase.
