Summary: Freezes constanly... 2008-11-07
Comment: I should have read the reviews for this before I bought it. I purchased it new. It CONSTANTLY freezes up. I only download and listen to audio books on my ipod. The first book download worked perfectly. Not anymore!!!
It has such a hard time when it's time to download!!! It's a pain. I have to constantly reset it (you do this by pushing the menu and the middle circle at the same time, for about 10 seconds) Even after resetting it, it still doesn't work.
I'm getting rid of it and buying one of the cheapos. At least if that "breaks" I'm only out $20-$30, not $100. This is trash. Save your money.

Comment: I received this iPod on my birthday a few years back. It was my first iPod, and I didn't know what to expect. It holds a satisfactory capacity, it can't hold many songs. I had this iPod for about two years, until it came to a point where it would only hold a charge for several minutes, and I had bought the 3rd-gen nano. Of course, I used it for several hours just about everyday, and took it on numerous long car rides and vacations. So yes, I got more than my money's worth out of it. But it also had several problems, like it would randomly freeze or shut off. Other than those glitches, it was pretty good. Get this if you just want a minimal amount of songs and not a very fancy iPod.
